Marjan keeps projects and people moving forward with her energetic personality and solid approach to achieve sound results.

Starting her career as an Engineer at Fokker, Marjan developed her analytical skills and becoming a Project manager and Logistics manager. Next to her fascination for aviation, her love for logistic solutions was born here. After 12.5 years at Fokker, she spread her wings and headed for Shell. Marjan further refined her managerial and logistics skills at Royal FloraHolland, world’s largest flower auction, where she managed and improved a broad variety of development projects and logistic processes. In 2018, she returned to the world of aviation as Process Owner for the Turnaround process at Schiphol Airport. In collaboration with handlers, airlines and Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL), she realised several improvements in processes, procedures, agreements and operational performance. In November 2021, she joined MovingDot with the ambition of ensuring the successful realisation of complex aviation projects.

In recent years, Marjan has led several ambitious projects at Schiphol focused on sustainability and aviation regulations, such as Sustainable Taxiing and Reducing Aircraft Engine/APU Use and Emissions. These projects required close collaboration between the airport, air traffic control, airlines, and ground handling teams, with the cooperation between them needed to be organized carefully.

Marjan holds a Master’s degree in Management & Organisation and is a Master Black Belt in Lean, making her an experienced process facilitator, allowing her to effectively involve the different stakeholders in an incremental approach.

In her spare time, she loves venturing out into the mountains and walking or biking for days on end. During these trips she strives, like in her work, to have fun as a team and accomplish the tasks ahead leveraging the circumstances and qualities of each team member.
